SkudPuppetz

Skud Puppetz were formed in the summer of 2004 when Johnno (Guitar/Vocals), Chris (Bass/Vocals) and Cree met through various internet ads and decided it would be cool to jam together and see what happened. After a few jams, and Cree's innvasion of Canada for a month, the 3 guys decided to start the band properly and began writing their own songs and messing around with covers of cheesey pop songs. The first song that was written was "War Cry" and is still played to this day. After a couple months of practicing and writing, SkudPuppetz were ready for thier first gig. The Corran Halls in Oban was the venue and after the headlining act pulled out, the Puppetz were asked to fill in. It wasnt the best of gigs, but it wasnt bad for the band's first outting. Many more gigs in and around glasgow and 2 demo's followed. In October 2005, it was decided that SkudPuppetz needed to bring somemore oomph to their sound. This is when Stu (Guitar/Shouts) joined. He only had one practice and 3 hours with the band and he was thrown into his first gig at The Vale in Glasgow. So with more gigs planned, a new CD on the way and talk of looking for a managment deal, SkudPuppetz should hopefully be playing for some years to come.
